Veronica Almedina, Co-Chief Executive Officer

Veronica Almedina’s commitment to educational leadership began in the classroom as an elementary school teacher and grade team leader at Amber Charter Schools. Recognized for her impact on instructional quality, she became an Emerging Leaders Fellow through the New York City Charter Center and later completed the Achievement First Accelerator Leadership Program. As Co-CEO, Veronica now oversees instructional leadership across Amber’s campuses, fostering the growth and development of educators and ensuring continuity in the values that have shaped Amber’s legacy. Veronica is a founding member of the Latino Charter Leaders Roundtable and was named a “Mujer Destacada” by El Diario/La Prensa for her contributions to the community. She holds an M.S. in Childhood Education from Lehman College and a B.S. from Fordham University.
